Happy week 5! For this week's Twitter Tuesday, our class utilized ChatGBT to ask about true stories about our animals of interest. For my first story, I asked ChatGBT to tell me a true story about a dog being a hero. I was given a story about a dog named Buddy who was on a hike with its owner in the desert and started acting abnormally. The owner decided to trust Buddy's instinct and follow where he was going. They eventually came across an elderly woman who had fallen and had been stranded for hours. The owner immediately called for help and saved the lady's life. Ultimately this story highlights the incredible instincts dogs have and how they could save lives.

For my second story, I asked ChatGBT to tell me a true story about a dog-detecting illness. ChatGBT then generated the story above about a woman named Claire and her Dog Daisy. This story sheds light on the remarkable sense of smell dogs have and their ability to detect illnesses in their owners. Dogs could potentially save so many lives if they are trained to detect early signs of cancer and other illnesses. This would allow owners to seek immediate treatment and recover early before it gets any worse.

While looking for more accounts to follow on Twitter to help with my research on dogs, one of the accounts that stood out to me was @acstellato. Anastasia is an assistant professor for the companion of dogs. Her main research is focused on improving our interactions with companion animals and improving canine welfare in veterinary clinics. I found her research to be super fascinating as she wants to improve the well-being of dogs and their relationships with their owners. I also found Bailey J heartwarming tweet about the German shepherd who visited his owner's grave after he passed away. I find it fascinating how loyal dogs are to us and how they can experience the same kind of emotions we do.

One of the blogs that stood out to me this week was from Julianagranillo. She posted about dog therapy and the benefits it has on students. This was super interesting to me since dog therapy could specifically help college students during finals or midterm season. Being away from home could also be stressful therefore dog therapy on campuses would help relieve some stress of college students. Overall I enjoyed looking through my classmate's tweets and utilizing ChatGBT to tell me stories about dogs.
